Just a Quickie
I found this through a LiveJournal friend. It says to post this in an email, but most people I email would have a coronary, so I’m posting it here instead:
Dear friend,
After a lot of years of devastating setbacks in the fight for marriage equality, it seems like we’re finally moving in the right direction. With marriage legal in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont and Maine, and the fights going strong in New Hampshire, New York and California, this movement is gaining more momentum every day, and I’m excited to be a part of it.
To that end, I wanted to let you know that CREDO Action is giving away some awesome stickers about supporting gay marriage – I think you’d really like them. I just got mine – if you have a minute, click this link to check out the stickers and get one of your own (for free!).
Thanks!

And Arkansas is making this interesting a’la adoptions to keep gays from doing this. How can a state legislate that one must be married to adopt?
Consenting adults should be allowed to get married, or do whatever else they want, provided it doesn’t infringe on the rights of others. Homosexual marriage does not. Poly marriages do not. It’s true that people with heart problems breed. However, I also happen to believe that people who are highly likely to pass deformities or illnesses on to their offspring should either not have children or adopt. I don’t want children, but if i did I would adopt, for that reason.
adj. Differing from a norm or from the accepted standards of a society.
With roughly 10% of the population homosexual, with additional governments making it legal all the time, and with homosexuals more and more able to enter mainstream career fields, I’d hardly classify it as differing from the accepted standards of society.
Ugh. I fail at html. Sorry.
You’ve broken the rules. If you can’t argue with what I actually say or are too irritating to tolerate, I won’t respond. Don’t expect to hear from me again.
